Calgary meet's 2009

Hi Everyone

Calgary is having their first NON-DRAMA meet of 2009.

Where: Peters Drive In (16th Ave NW and Edmonton Trail)
When: Jan 3, 2009. 6:30pm. Main even starts at 7:00
Why: Make a clean slate for 2009
What: Car meet, please be aware that we typically stand around for an hour then either go to a bar or restaurant.
Who: Anyone who wants to come, you dont need to be a Mitsu Owner just a fan, but anyone causing any issues with anyone else who comes will be banned no questions asked.



Note: I am hoping to discuss with the other moderators a no tolerance policy on aggressive driving much like beyond.ca has. This means that anything that draws legal attention to MN will cause you to be banned or even IP banned if so fit. Please remember you are representing our club and other members.

I for one am down. I look forward to seeing everyone, meeting some new friends, and building a strong western Canadian club for 2009.

Also instead of cluttering up threads I want to throw this in here:

I am not going to even pretend that I have had the hardest year out of everyone on this forum, with two of our members loosing those who are close to them and many more issues I am sure I am oblivious to that is not my intention.

I want to apologize to everyone who was caught in the wake of my personal problems (you know who you are, but if you dont and you presently dont like me there is a good chance you are someone I wish to apologize too). Everything I said to you (and others) was not appropriate and was caused by extreme personal stress.

As for 2009. I hope to get Calgary MN back on track, and more welcoming and less competitive. I also will be fixing up the car again, either will be getting back to the lancer or will be picking up an Evo or RA. I haven't decided yet and will see how the dealerships treat me.

I want to wish everyone a happy new year, hope that things improve in everyone's life as well as on the forum as a whole. I hope to have a nicely tuned car come spring. I plan to be going balls to the wall starting in early January and represent MN the way it deserves to be represented.
