M.O.D. (East) 2015 - Judge's Choice

All the people from Mitsubishi were great. They came around and talked to every owner, every passenger, and every fan. It was hard to decipher who was the judge in disguise. Tim Murray was at the show to support the brand and help grow the community that he loves when his name was called for Judge's Choice. Here is some story on the LancerNation Connecticut member and Judge's Choice winner.

Year: 2009
Model: Lancer GTS
Color: Octane Blue Pearl

(LancerNation) - Who are you and how did you get your Lancer?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - Born and raised in Connecticut I have had a Mitsubishi and fell in love with the brand after seeing the Evolution on TV. My first car was a 1997 Galant ES which was so much fun to drive and was a mountain goat in the snow. When my 2003 Lancer OZ Rally died in the Fall of 2013 I wanted to find an Evo but couldn't afford it and my wife never learned to drive stick so for this time around I compromised and got the GTS which I could afford.

(LancerNation) - What have you done to the car?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - I have done to this car what I have always wanted to do. I have plans for an Evo but they are WAY different then what I am doing now. This is definitely a project car and I don' have that feeling terror when I replace a part. This car I am going full ham on. Here is the list:

(LancerNation) - What is your favorite part of the car:
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - Right now it has to be a the headlights. They are what people come up to me to ask about the most. I also am pretty happy with the paint I did on the inside of the car. It is hard to get people to see that part but when they do they realize why it is special.

(LancerNation) - How does it feel to win for Judge's Choice?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - To be honest I was shocked. When they called my name I was talking to someone I cruised in with and it didn't sink in for about 10 seconds. I think I actually yelled a swear! Either way when I got up there I almost thought I was dreaming. I can't believe it won something. This is my first award in the car scene and I can only thank everyone who helped me.

(LancerNation) - Which car would you have voted for Judge's Choice?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - There were a lot of amazing cars there but I would have to say one of the SARAPtalaga guy's Lancers. Both of them came in super clean sate really nice and just looked amazingly professional. You could not get a bad picture of those things from any angle and I just couldn't stop staring.

(LancerNation) - How did you hear about M.O.D.?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - Someone mentioned it when I was talking to some of the members of CT Lancers last winter. I went in 2014 and had a great time even if it was in the rain. I hyped it to everyone I know with a Mitsubishi. It really is one of a kind show and awesome that the company does this.

(LancerNation) - Will you go back to M.O.D. again?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - You can't stop me from coming back. I hope I can get a bigger and better group to show up and if they move the date so it has better weather it can only get better.

(LancerNation) - Any future plans or have shout outs?
(Tim "JukEboX" Murray) - All future plans are top secret because I can never come to a final consensus on what I want to do until the part is in and I am happy with it. Hopefully for M.O.D. next year it sounds and looks a little meaner. I have to thank everyone at ProjectLancer for helping me out with all my questions, CJ Lopez from LancerNation New York for doing my headlights and fogs, Chris Quinones from LancerNation New York for all kinds of inspiration, Randy Singh from LancerNation Ontario for custom made LED creations and Drake Dawson from LancerNation South Carolina for helping with my cluster. Everyone has a piece of themselves in this car and it is all appreciated.

Tim won Judge's Choice but continues to give back to the Mitsubishi community with pictures and videos as well as helping the community to grow with a model that will may no longer be made in the future.
