Mitsubishi Owners Day 2026 (East)
Just like previous Mitsubishi Owners Days run by LancerNation on the East Coast, it was the hottest day of the summer. August 1st, 2026 again made history when LancerNation, and RiX Magazine brought Mitsubishi Owners Day back to New Jersey for the first time since 2016. Once again the Mitsubishi community on the east coast come out for another great year to help fill a new location, Liccardi Mitsubishi in Green Brook, NJ. About 100 cars came through and were were blown away by the selection this year including the return of an FTO for the first time since 2023.
Just like Central MOD we were heavy with 3000GTs, Lancers, and Evos of course. And also like Central MOD we only had 2 SUVs to round out or off roaders. Kudos to one of our headliners last year, Zim, who showed up as one of the only 2 Delicas and they didn't even plan to be there together showing the difference between a camping setup and a family cruiser setup.
We also had a first this time with a Pajero Ralliart in amazing condition sporting all of the goodies that could be added.
We were super proud to have people come from many states away from New York to West Virginia. It felt like the old days of MOD where East Coast owners came together from many states to check out each other's cars. This year include much more Eclipses which is awesome because previous years was seriously lacking.
We were also blessed to see Omar Melendez's new car color he debuted for the first time at MOD East 2026 after his car was in an accident. He was working till the night before to finish the wrap and repairs to make it to the show which was an absolute miracle.
This show is where we starting bring the community back together and we are so happy to bring it to a new location to bring in new members. Huge thanks to RiX Magazine for helping us grow the show and make it look professional and provide us with so much amazing talent and an awesome team to work with. Also huge shoutout to Liccardi Mitsubishi and their owner Paul. In celebration of the show he brought out his actual Richard Petty NASCAR stock car to post up at the show. It was a true honor to see this thing. Thanks to the food trucks who kept everyone cool and fed as well as DJ Tek 1 for doing his best to keep the tunes pumping even when the sun would not quit on his equipment. We hope to be back next year, bigger, better and with more room for you to help fill the lot.
